-fuck you.-

oo2; splinters | sretnilps

My apologies for my absence.

As of late, nothing has happened here. Integra is getting increasingly comfortable, and I have discovered that the ship hates me. I attempted to go through a few walls, and it struck back with an intensity that is very unlike a wall. I had always felt that walls had ears...but I believe this is going too far.

I spent the next hour or so plucking splinters out of my skin, since it healed around the wood, and it was very unpleasant. I haven't felt a need to go to the bathroom for that long in centuries.

My personal message to the ship: I hate you as much as you apparently dislike me. Oppose me and I will crush your will.

It feels odd to be thinking those thoughts about my surroundings.

In other news, I have discovered the storefronts, and have found blood candy and lollipops. Eating them seems to sate my hunger to a minimal extent, and it is extremely entertaining. The glucose in the blood is quite unrefined and tasty. However, it seems to bother Integra when she sees me sucking on a lollipop -- "you look like a child", was her exact quote.

Hmm.

She hasn't ordered me to stop eating them, however, so I have stocked up on them. I never once thought that I would ever discover a sugary snack that was vampire-friendly.

And that is all.

This place is strange.

Undulating energy would be the only way to express it -- I've never experienced anything quite like it. Everything is twisting and stretching, like a constantly changing picture, faceless and strangely appealing.

We appeared here on some random coincidence -- Integra was travelling elsewhere, and I followed her after releasing her from the prison, even though she requested that I return to the headquarters while she explored on her own. We embarked out on a ship, and then woke up in this mockery of a vessel. The kind of magic it holds is deadly and ancient, and smells like moldy stacks of paper.

I made my presence known soon after we had arrived, giving her my comments about the nature of our surroundings. She didn't seem pleased, but I am beyond caring [just in general, not so much pertaining to her].

Integra has ordered me to do research on this ship, "since I'm here anyway". I fully intend to do so once the night comes, and perhaps to find something to drink on the way...

I will also be searching for a way out. I believe Integra has some important business to attend to [even though I doubt she did, considering the beginning of her explorations].

This device is a fascinating thing, as well. Integra and the rest had a set of these, but I had never used one. Strange, how humans communicate with each other with the written word over wires...but knowing this ship, it is watching every letter and word I type. It might even know what I am thinking, even though I dislike entertaining the thought.

...

And on that note, I take my leave.
